After the tremendous success of season one, which received two International Emmy Award nominations and won four South African Film and Television Awards, M-Net’s acclaimed local series Reyka is returning for its second season. Coming to M-Net (DStv channel 101) viewers are in for a thrilling new chapter filled with intrigue, danger, and uncharted waters.
The second season will see Kim Engelbrecht (Dominion, The Flash) and Iain Glen (Game of Thrones) reprise their roles as flawed but brilliant criminologist Reyka Gama and her former abductor Angus Speelman. The action will take place against the backdrop of the Durban Harbour, the largest port in Africa, with a new set of compelling characters in the mix.
